Do you ever just feel kind of blah? I think that was me this morning. However, when the kids arrived, it made me smile. :)
After special, in Out of My Mind, Melody told us about Mrs. V, her neighbor that has been helping her to roll over and reach for things she wants and to read and... pretty much, Mrs. V has believed in Melody that she can do anything and helps her to achieve her goals! Then, we responded on a padlet, about empathy. (You can check it out here: https://padlet.com/heather_lambrig/OutOfMyMind1) They then read and worked on their class logo. Next, we discussed revising and began to revise our small moment story. In Science, we continued our erosion stations and Mrs. Tanner had them make a scale model of the universe. In math, the 5th graders continued with Japanese multiplication or multiplication with powers of 10 while we started on division in 4th grade. It was another day outside for recess, thankfully and then after quiet time, we tried to complete our Rubik's cube. I finally completed my cube!! (I've tried for 4 years and finally got it!)
Do you ever wonder what a school day in the life of your child looks like? Are you frustrated with the shoulder shrug you receive when asking about their day? Well, wonder no more! Read my daily blog so that you can ask more detailed questions and know more about your child's school life!
